The bidding started at $1450, per agreement with the terms the Club made with the donor (as I understand it). There were no opening bids so the Strike did not sell. My understanding is that next year, the bidding will begin again at $1450 and if no bidders, will be offered again next time. If I have this wrong, I'm sure someone will help me out. I believe there were about 150 people there for the auction.
