Had a good time at Sam's Town this morning. Caught Dave Ruffel on his way out, just missed Pete Ryan. Met Gary Heinz, Bill and Nancy Metten, Jeff and Susan Bitzer. Won a lot of strikes, a few red caps, but none of the two new car strikes were coming out. Down to her last 12 credits in the machine my wife hit double-double-red seven for 650 quarters, so we cashed out and left. My wife averaged about face for strikes, I did about $12 per this time.

There are two strike machines in play at the Palms, one up against the high roller area, and one down closer to the sports book. There are red caps in that one, but who knows which one it is. Probably a total mix of strikes, I haven't played them but might play them a bit today to see what comes out.

I'll be meeting some more strikers for dinner at the Rio tonight. Sorry I missed the tourney, but having fun and it's great to meet some more people to put a face to the names.
