Re: I hate to do someone else's thinking but
Warren, lets go back to April 11,2010 on Ebay when you sold the $200 New Frontier, Item #320511841013 for $309.09 plus $6.00 S&H. You had a $200 New Frontier listed on Strikepoint for sale a while back and it was a no number along with other $200's that you were trying to sell and I emailed you and offered you $400.00 for that $200! Your reply to me was, "I get $400.00 for the New Frontier $200's with numbers and I won't sell one without a number for $400.00!" According to Bill Cohenour's Book, the guide price for that $200 is $300 - $350 and the last one sold for $301.00 plus S&H. There isn't any record of this $200 New Frontier no number or one with a number ever selling for $400 by you or anyone else in his October 16, 2009 edition. On Jackpot Auctions, Norm listed a $200 El Cortez 1500 New World (No Number) for a starting bid of $400.00 and it sold to Jim Munding for that price in April 2010. What I am trying to say to you is, "If you have a good item to sell and not a common strike, you will get the price you are looking for no matter what Auction Site you are using, but I would rather use a site that doesn't charge any fees and is also owned by a fellow SS Club Member." Let's also keep in mind that this hobby seems to be on a downward turn at the present time and strikes are not bringing the big money anymore!
