My recollection is that the donation was made to the museum. My question is that if Jerry couldn't attend the 2005 banquet where the presentation was to be made to the Silver Strikers Club according to Jerry, why weren't back-up arrangements made for a Silver Strike Club Officer to accept the presentation from Treasure Island officials who were invited to do so if Jerry's accounting is correct? Surely, Jerry knew well in advance by his own admission that he had a previous committment that conflicted with the banquet presentation. Would it not be reasonable to assume that a SS club officer or two would have been present to accept the $200 TI strike if that was the intention? Why, now five years later, is this issue coming to light at this late date?
