Marie and I just returned from our (9) day trip to Las Vegas. We met with some members of the Silver Strikers Club as well as some members of the CC>CC, and to my dismay these were the things that I was told by members of both clubs and we wanted to finally clear the air for the last time! It seems that the CC>CC are laying claim to the $200 Treasure Island Siren Strike that was donated to the SILVER STRIKERS CLUB at the CC>CC Dinner in 2005. When Marie and I got involved in the design and the number of $200’s that were minted, this was all done through the Management at Treasure Island at the time. All of this planning took place with Aaron Rosenthal, who was the Director of Operations and Trevor Hayden, Assistant Director of Operations and Marie and myself along with Greg Rabatin, Casino Marketing Host. Before the completion of the handing out of the Treasure Island $200’s, Aaron Rosenthal and Trevor Hayden were both moved over to the Mirage and held the exact same positions and titles that they held at Treasure Island. Justin Beltram took over as Director of Operations and Jordan Salmon as Assistant Director of Operations and the handing out of the $200’s were completed by both of them. Through Aaron Rosenthal, Trevor Hayden, Justin Beltram and Jordan Salmon, Marie and I had these Treasure Island Heads donate one $200 Treasure Island Siren Strike to our Club, The SILVER STRIKERS CLUB. I was asked to accompany Jordan Salmon Assistant Director of Operations to the CC>CC Dinner as a Representative of the Silver Strikers Club and Treasure Island, but my wife and I had a previous commitment and could not participate in the donation of the $200 to our Club. This $200 may have been donated at the CC>CC Dinner, but in no way was this $200 Strike donated to the CC>CC Club. There seems to be some misunderstanding as to the ownership of this $200, so let me make this perfectly clear so there is no misunderstanding. I was told that it is my word against the CC>CC for the ownership of this $200 Siren Strike!! Below is a letter that was sent to Ralph Fajardo past President and to the present President Bill Jollie of which is self-explanatory.
LETTER: After reading about the problems in our club I said to Marie that I should call Ralph Fajardo at home and explain to him about the $200 Treasure Island Siren Strike that was donated to the Silver Strikers Club by Jordan Salmon Assistant Slot Operations Manager. This $200 was donated to the Silver Strikers Club at the CC>CC Dinner in 2005 and not to the CC>CC. Jordan had asked me to go to the dinner with him as a representative of TI's to donate the $200 to the Silver Strikers Club, but I already had tickets to go to the 7:30 PM Mystere Show at TI's and I told him I couldn't make it! As you know Marie was the one who designed the Siren Strike for Treasure Island when Aaron Rosenthal (Manager) and Trevor Hayden (Assistant Manager) were the two who were in charge of operations at TI's. Please copy and paste this email and send it to Ralph Fajardo (President of the Silver Strikers Club) so there will be a record of this donation to the Silver Strikers Club by the Head of Operations at Treasure Island.
Thank You,
