Jim - I agree with what you say and I also like playing for strikes but I can't get to Vegas as often as I would like. What I should have said I guess is that if the price of silver continues to go up and up that the casinos more than likely will not want to pay the much higher price for .999 silver strikes and I am afraid it will mean just clad strikes and I don't think I am the only one that thinks the clad strikes has lead to a loss of collectors or just regular players.
I remeber when the first $7 strike machine came out at Harveys in 1992 I saw it and played it first because they were pure silver and then when Harrah's got there machine I got hooked and have collected ever since. At this point in time I don't figure on selling my collection because the value is so far down but if I had to I would sell off all the erros and rare ones in my collection and sell the rest for bullion value.
