I was deployed at Nellis in ‘87 and stayed at the Rainbow Vegas across the street from the county jail. Now that was a hotel! We called it the Rainbow Vagrant. Won a hundred dollar jackpot on a quarter slot machine. Thought I had won the world with that one. I didn’t start collecting strikes until the 90s I think. Thought the souvenir coin thing was cool.
