Red Rock Dropping Program

Usually one of my favorite things to do for the members of this board is to let you know when new strikes are coming out and when new casinos are added to the Silver Strike Program. Every now and then, I also have to be the bearer of bad news regarding Silver Strikes too. Today I share a little bad news that Red Rock Casino has decided to end their short run of $10 silver strike program. When the current inventory of strikes is exhausted, both machines will be removed from the floor. That will likely be less than two weeks from now.
Rest assured there is nothing anybody in the club did that caused this, it's simply very difficult for a 25ยข slot machine to compete on the floor of a modern casino AND cage personnel are not particularly interested in reloading machines when they are out of strikes.
There are a number of new Las Vegas casinos currently being approached with designs and program details to expand the Silver Strike Program. It's a little setback for sure, but it was always a longshot keeping Red Rock. The great majority of their customers are locals who aren't as interested in souvenir coins. Most of Four Queens customers are tourists, it's the perfect place for Silver Strike Souvenir Coins. Shaun has perfected the formula and has been rewarded with a well deserved faithful following of Silver Strike Collectors.

Let's continue to support The Four Queens and The Plaza in Las Vegas and do what we can to keep the two New Mexico casinos (Sky City and Route 66) in the program. New casinos are in the works.... more on that later.
