Back in ancient history (mid-1990’s), several casinos issued $2 brass strikes (they actually had “TWO DOLLAR REDEEMABLE CASH VALUE” on their rims). They were issued by the Aladdin, Harrah’s Reno, Edgewater, and Prairie Meadows, IA (and the Aladdin also issued a $3 strike).
These machines looked and played like the $10 strike machines of the time, but were played with nickels (I remember playing them at the Aladdin and Harrah’s Reno).
I am wondering if any long time member might have a picture of one of these machines buried deep in their photo album.
