Good thoughts but one of the issues today is the cost of the base metals to produce a $10 clad coin is inching up to the face value of the coin. Soon the $.75 a pull will go away because in order to justify the square footage of a machine they need $3 a pull to make four square feet profitable. Today to place a $10 machine on the floor there isn’t enough profit dollars in it to do so. If you look around on the strip there’s no $1.50 a pull machines. Walk around downtown and look, the $1.50 a pull are slowly going away too. More and more $6 plus machines are showing up.
It’s sad but profit dollars have left the strike machine, realities are upon us I’m afraid. Let’s hope that the 4Q’s can keep the program alive and encourage others to join in.
Off the box, Jeff
