It must be stamped .999 fine silver in the center ot be a "real" Silver Strike.

OK, that being said, there were some that had .999 Silver stamped on the rim. The Gaming Commission didn't like that and made the casinos that had .999 on the rim re-mint with .999 in the center.

However, since 1997 (someone correct me on the date if I'm wrong), they must have .999 stamped in the center is they are "real" silver.
