I seen one of these and I believe that when the ink dried it pulled and tore away from the smooth shiny polished base metal. It is for this reason base metals be they car body’s ,fridges,etc they must be a frosted moderately rough surface prior to the paint job. Shrinkage of the paint during curing/ drying could lead to separation.
Not a sticker in my opinion.
Also oils or dust could cause delamination paint.
