That's a good question. First off today's silver strikes are not yesterdays silver strike. yesterday all were made of .999 silver inserts. Today only 1 is made of .999 on the insert. The red caps from the 4 Queens be that one. All the rest as clad. Basically scrap metal with a silver plating.
And now to your answer. Yesteryear my average was between $7.00 and $12.00 . It's a slot machine so sometimes you could get a couple to a few for the first $10.00 you put in. Other times though rare you could put in $100.00 and get nothing or one.
Today playing most players will say around the average of $10.00 - $15.00 . Though as I say most players. I do not play the machines any longer since the clads were introduced. The other day I posted a group of clads for sale for $12.00 each from the 4 Queens that can be traded in for the next $300.00 the Casino comes out with. No one was interested. Assumption, they want to play and get the 30 to turn in themselves. Story's from some players is that they can get 30 for $250.00 area and others proudly say they "only" put in $400.00 to get their 30 to turn in, oh, yea, for 6 ounces of real silver which is what the $300.00 strikes have in them.
Bottom line, it's called gambling and those that play love it.
