I just finished reading about eBay’s New Managed Payments program effective October 15th.
They said it is required to enroll if I want to continue to sell on eBay.

I watched a couple of YouTube videos on the subject and I am not happy with the forced changes.
I plan to make my last listings on Sunday and after that, I will no longer sell on eBay.
I will continue to make sales and purchases outside of eBay as usual.

eBay is requiring your Social Security Number to be on file.
Scammers have taken advantage of the loose Return Policy to scam sellers out of their items at no cost.
Once a buyer opens a return request, the money for the item is frozen with eBay until resolution. This sometimes takes up to 30 days.
If you transfer your money out of PayPal after sales like I do, then your eBay account will be frozen until funds matching the item’s cost plus shipping is returned to this account and locked until settlement.

After over 10 years of paying high fees and dealing with the many changes and adjustments, I am done. There is no fun selling on eBay anymore.
