The Treasure Island $40 strike (Ship) has been holding pretty
steady at a value of $250.00 - $300.00. I have a couple of those,
paid $190.00 for 1 and $210.00 for the other about 2 years ago.

Over the years, I have added some high end $40.00 strikes to my
collection that are all worth $250.00+. I have all but one of the
SR 6 piece set from the Hilton in Atlantic City (50 each), and also
have all 4 high end ones from Harrah's New Orleans.

There is a seller on-line that has about 15 "common strikes" that
sell from $18.00 to around $24.00 each. Every time he does post
some, they are all priced $80.00 each, and the guy actually sells
them.

There are some club members that over the years, got caught up
in bidding wars and overpaid sometimes as much a 4x+ the value
of a strike because they had to have it. Now they sell them and in
some cases only get like 1/3 of what they paid. I also do collect
casino chips, and the same has happened with those. When I look
for a certain strike or chip, if it is high, i pass and wait for another
to come along.
