We do alot of shipping, so we are keeping PayPal for their shipping and
sending/receiving money when dealing with people direct off E-bay.
PayPal is not closing down ....
Ebay is going to be using another provider like PayPal, so you won't have to open
new accounts. You will just have to provide your current banking information
to the new provider, and supply the new provider with your current account(s)
and routing number(s) that you used with Ebay & PayPal - Simple
I was told by Ebay that your current information may/will be provided to the new
payment provider, since Ebay owned PayPal at one point. Seems a deal was struck
as to not disrupt money transactions on Ebay sales .....
Most banks are fee free as long as you keep minimum balances in the accounts.
We use several banks, each 6 figure deposits, so any and all of our transactions
are fee free. We have to use several banks, because of FDIC, they only cover up
to $250,000. Less and less banks are offering FDIC for the first $250,000 and DIF
covering everything else because of fees they have to pay so to protect deposits,
so we are currently using 4 different banks. A pain, but our money is safe .....
