Hello everyone!

I'm new to silver strike collecting. I am a silver collector and stumbled upon the strikes from that direction. My interest is in $10 silver strikes and I wish to start a collection and have a couple basic questions.

First I'd like to assemble an assortment of the $10 strikes that's as close to face value as possible. At this point I'm not particularly interested in the rarity or collectability I'm just interested in having the variety of strikes. I've seen a few sellers on this site that I will be contacting and some on eBay that look promising. I'd appreciate any further guidance of places to find a variety lot.

The second question I have is I understand from reading that starting 2009 some of the $10 strikes are clad. Is there a way to quickly identify the clad versus the solid $10 pieces?
