Doug was an early collector of silver strikes. He advertised in coin magazines to buy strikes. I would see Doug at coin events in the DFW area and also at casinos in Vegas playing the strike machines. I purchased several strikes from Doug over the years. I think Doug was 79 years on this earth. May Doug rest in peace.
