The dealers who bought in at $17 an ounce (and higher) can't sell at $14, and they are having problems finding sellers at below melt.
Guys like me are holding on to their junk silver, hoping the market returns to $20-40 an ounce, lol, it may be years.
To make it casino related:
The $7 silver strikes are 0.65 ounces of silver, making their melt value around $9, adding a premium for the collectible, and maybe you can buy/sell at $12-15.
The $10 silver strikes are 0.60 ounces of silver, making their melt value around $8.50.
I think Archie said it... collect/buy what you like and you won't regret the price you pay.
