Ok, well it is with pleasure that I admit "I made a mistake". I was contacted by another collector who said he has had his tokens tested and they came back as made of silver under the gold plating. So upon this info I took the two I have of this token to town and tested them, again. Both came back as silver under the gold plating. I don't remember exactly where I received the wrong info but an glad to report I was wrong in stating there was no silver there.
