The actual silver content in strikes has varied greatly depending
on the casino, and what mint they were dealing with.
For the most part, most silver content weighed in at .55 oz. average
to just under .60 oz. depending on the strike design
Several silver strikes were minted over .60 oz. and actually went as
high as .6259 oz. ( Rio strike - "Rio Rita" )
The lowest silver content I have seen was from Sam's Town. The
last 9 silver strikes the did had an actual silver content averaging
right around .45 oz. Sams Town started lowering the actual silver
weight to under .50 oz. in 2007 thru their last silver strike in 2010
