Strikes on Airplanes
In Response To: good ole days ()

Hi Jim,
I love bringing home strikes from Vegas.
Bringing a bunch of strikes onto the airplane is really no problem either in Check-In luggage or Hand Carry.
Screeners in Las Vegas are use to seeing strikes, tokens, and coins through their x-ray.
If the strikes are jumbled loosely and could possibly shield prohibited items, then they will ask to check the hand carry.
I suggest, keeping the strikes in neat stacks and in a clear plastic Ziplock.
What would make it easier, is to take the ziplock of strikes out of your bag and place in the tubs for easy inspection through the x-ray.
If Silver ever goes back up to $30 per, then the value of your collection would significantly increase too.
Enjoy this fun hobby of ours and don't sweat the small stuff.
Happy collecting,
Gene
