Just to set some things straight! ...
The 4 Queens is the greatest thing that the Silver Strikes have had for some years. The "machine" is only idle for now until another short mintage is made and then it will be refilled exactly as it was for the REOPENING of a $40 machine. Then we will be notified of the mintage. IF it is emptied again before the ST. Pats day $40 strike is due into the machine it will get another infusion of a short mintage ... then the ST. Pats day one will replace it. IF the ST. Pats $40 strike sells out and there are some left over $40 strikes from this Jan tourney they will be inserted into the machine. Then when June Tourney comes up there will be another NEW $40 Strike for that and so on and so on ... Not hard for us to take into consideration 4 Queens position on this matter. IT IS HERE TO STAY and will be where it was for the duration of time; a new location for another (9th) strike machine .... SO ... Yes ... we have another strike machine in play.
All this was explained to us in a meeting.
IF I am wrong on the way I understood Shaun ... I am hopefully SURE he will correct me.

ALSO ... we were shown and introduced to the makers of the NEW strike machines!!!! They HAVE BEEN approved as I understood it. They are looking to introducing them in AZ, NM, CA and one other state which I can't recall at this moment (brain fart)!!

As a side note ... the way the $40 machine was used seemed to work well. You could play until you ran out of money or got your $40 strike and then turn it over to the next in line.

PS ,... I got mine for $33 and the one in front of me got theirs for less!
