It is a silver one ounce round put out by the casino. Either as a promotional hand out or maybe a gift shop item, or both.

A silver strike is a silver casino token "won" from a machine. There were way back some $2 and $3 brass tokens that were won from nickel machines. Still called a strike because won from a machine.
