If I remember right the strikes were all silver plated and a few were offered gold plated and they came from a guy in Australia, I remember emailing him and he responded his Brother or Brother-in-law had made them and they were then pulled for the auction on ebay.
Somewhere in a past thread on the strikepoint there were a few posts about them.
