Short answer would be, yes. These brass tokens all came from a machine.

I don't really believe it has ever been one of those "lets all agree" decisions. I remember way back then the machines, which were actually the same type of machine in looks as the $7, $10, $20 and $40 machines. Money in and tokens out. The $2.00 tokens came from a nickel machine. I am not positive on the two different Aladdin $3 tokens if that to was a nickel machine or a quarter machine. The $7 and $10 were both quarter machines.

Bottom line to your question, the little brass tokens came from a machine there for fell in line as coming from a silver strike machine, hence, the neck name of silver strike stuck.
