Everett you are correct that I would not take $500 each (at least I'm assuming the $500 was for each and not for all 7), for the Trump Plaza $40 Babe Ruth strikes. I have yet to hear or see from anyone that they have one for sale or even have one in their collection. I got my information straight from the casino that only two of each for the seven designs were made and I own all 14 strikes. I am willing to take less than I am asking for on Ebay, but I have never gotten a real offer. When I first got these I was offered $60 each. No one can argue that that was a low ball offer. Even the commons go for that at least. I think they are worth more than that. No one made me an offer for a trade for any of the other rare strikes from Atlantic City (one for one). I think these are worth about $1000 each. If others think this is too high so be it. I'd be willing to take any 3 older $200 strikes for 1. Is this too high to ask? Maybe!!!!!! But since I own them I can do whatever I want with them, even scrap them.
Maybe I made someone mad again. Oh well.
