Hi E, I think you and Bill C. are the only collectors that have a Fitz Tunica $200's in their collection. You have a gem and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Bill emailed me after he had won his $200 Fitz on the bay to let me know he had found a second one. All I can say is for years after the machine had been pulled we tried to find any of the $200 Fitz from Tunica and even had members fly to Tunica and drive to the Casino to try to get one. They informed us they were all destroyed and none could be had by any one at any price. We knew from records that they existed but no collector had ever seen or had one. We tried and spent years looking for them. I and others had strike web sites and we always looked for people to sell us strikes for our collection. I got lucky one day and was contacted by a player from the Tunica area that had been in the Fitz when the $5.00 strike machine was in play and had won the strike and took it home instead of cashing it in. She wanted to sell her large collection of Tunica strikes and had sent messages to all of us she could find. I made her an offer and was able to buy her entire collection. I could not believe I had finally got the Tunica Fitz $200. in my collection. Dennis Finn and others wanted it bad and offered me thousands for it but I turned them down and for years would not even accept offers on it.
Bill was able to buy his low I believe because no one knew that it was only the second one ever found. For years I was the only one who had one and we could not find any others until the one Bill bought. When you bought yours from me I had put the word out that I had decided to sell my $200 strike collection including the Fitz and you had sent me an offer just before the annual convention. I kept all offers secret and told you I would not let anyone know what you offered or anyone else had offered. I then took the $200 Fitz to Vegas and showed it to several big time collectors "at the time" and took offers. You purchased the strike just few dollars over what others had bid. All I can say is that if things had not been so tight at the time you would not have had a Fitz and I would have kept collecting the $200's and would sure have enjoyed having it in my collection to show off every now and the when others came by to see my collection. I still have one of the Trump Marina 20's in my collection and only four of them are known to exist and one thing for sure when it was at the casino, was when the Donald owned the place. If he becomes President who knows what it will be valued at. if he wins the Presidency I am going to try and get him to autograph it. That may make it worth a few extra dollars. I Enjoy Collecting strikes and am still looking for them as we speak. I can't wait until the new machines go into play so I can add more strikes to my collection. Happy collecting my friend. Have a great time at the strike machines.
