Well another fine Summer has come and gone... falls in the air and it was an exceptional one for us here on the Detroit river.
Many warm days, plenty of sun shine and few storms...
Some of the of the highlights for me and Carol were--
A "visit" from fellow strikers Carl & Connie Janson , - California natives.
We traveled @ 1600 miles around Canada & Michigan stopping and inquiring at many many pawn shops, flea mks. etc for any casino strikes. resulting in some additional pieces for both our collections. Sight seeing
Shelving added to my garage and basement workshops.
Massive hole in the ground for yard sprinkler and pond pumps/with piping total rebuild covered back up-Done!!!
Figure 8 Race track - Bus Races & trailer boat Races at the local speed way with grand kids--- what a hoot - like a demolition derby.
Fishing for pan fish with the grand kids.. They're all under 9yrs old and were amazed at how grandpa cleaned and got the fish ready to eat---- these kids today are not exposed to all the things we were when we were young..... its a supermarket plastic world to them.. eeew the fish have blood? ya should have heard the questions flowing from them!!! alls good.
they're learning.
