First thing is I wish there was some way to post questions on silverstrikers.com. I have always disliked having to use strikepoint for this kind of questioning. Next, when you posted the ballot for members to vote on the new amendments for the constitution its all or nothing. Why isn't there an option to vote for some of the changes and maybe a no vote on some you don't want to vote for.?
Next is why now does the board feel the silverstrikers club needs to have a life time membership? This has been hashed around for some time, but why now do you feel this is a good or necessary option? This was brought up many years ago when we had double the membership we have now and 60% of the casinos had silver strike machines. Yes I know CC>CC has life time membership but it was also started when they had over 6,000 members. Is the club in some type of financial situation which we need more money in the treasury? What expenses do you see in the next few years that would call for this decision?
I am sorry that I haven't been to Vegas this last year but has there been any discussion at our club meeting, I don't recall any mention of this recently. Just to post new amendments without a discussion or any information is not being fair or informative to club members.
At this point I will be voting no on the proposal.
