Can anyone tell me why eBay item numbers become obsolete or no longer good after a period of time? Is there a way or place to look something up that I purchased one or even 5 years ago using the item number? Its frustrating to me that I live close to large server farms and that eBay does not have enough storage space SOMEWHERE to keep these item numbers traceable!
