Peggy it's always nice to find variations.... some ya keep -some you don't,,, I got a cool variation of a $10.00 gold panner that was missing frosting from an area "near the pan" that should have been frosted, and it was not a worn out die, possibly a mistake not caught during production,,, the panners have many different types, I don't have em all and don't need em all. I did show this one to Bill Cohenour at a show... there's got to be more out there like mine, but it's not listed as a variant. as far as I Know..
