This is such an amazing hobby. Every strike is different.
I traded Trey his clowns for this strike and another. He saw it on eBay. The picture on eBay clearly showed these "high spots", but frankly, I didn't see them.
I have agreed to swap this one out for one without the "high spots"
Something new collectors, and us older ones too, should watch for before we buy. Request a picture and study it - like Gabe has suggested in his email under "cleaning strikes".
We will all benefit from asking questions if we see something that looks "different".
