Thanks, Tracy. I do understand the rule of thumb not to clean coins.
BUT
I have a number of older strikes with brass rims that are so discolored that people will not buy them. I have had them returned because the brass is ugly and "funky". Because people have handled the strikes, they have oils from fingers and the oils collect dirt. I have been looking for something to clean the dirt off the metal, without making it look "new".
This cloth takes off the dirt and leaves the metal still looking toned.
I thought I would pass the info on to collectors in case they want to remove dirt from their coins without "polishing" them.
