Well, I was kind of dismayed with the comments of a striker I sat next to who looked at "the short run". He talked about strikes costing him $25-$30 But he was using a very small sample size. He also calculated the cost of a $300 without calculating what he would get back from the reds and blues.
I am not sure what QQQQ has their machines set at, but over the long haul, it must be pretty close to 92.5%, which would make the "actual cost" of a $10 strike $10.50, factor wins and losses of coins into that and I would figure $13-15 for each strike. Factoring reds and blues into that and the number comes down.
Plus the fact that I won't play unless there are red/blues in the machine in some kind of reasonable ratio.
Anyway, good discussion. Anyone else have a formula?
