Walt, here is the scan of the strike I now have. Sadly the fine scratches are on the strike. But as you can see the snow is missing from under the panner. However if I twist the strike different directions I can see just barely where the snow is generally is quite proud.

So I will go ahead and figure this is the NO Snow variety. I have been collecting since 1994 and this is the first one of these I have ever seen. So I guess there just must not be many like this around. Heck, maybe some even have gotten melted by non collectors.
