Buyers Beware!
I recently saw an Red Cap Excalibur Knight on Horse Strike listed on eBay. Listing was removed after a short time.
I am concerned that there may be Sellers on eBay that are placing "common strikes" into Red Capsules and selling them as Red Caps.
I have even heard that a person at the last Trade Session was trading Red-Capped California Year of the Zodiac Strikes for the latest Red Cap Alices.
The best way for new collectors to avoid being "taken" is to invest in a William Cohenour's "Comprehensive Nevada Silver Strike Reference Catalog" and check before buying.
As collectors, we are obligated to protect our hobby. I do not know if Fraud was the intent in either case, but it is certainly unethical by any Membership standards.
I was very grateful for the past information posted on Counterfeit Planet Hollywood Strikes and was able to resolve my purchases in a positive manner.
