Hello: I have been collecting strikes for a few years, mostly selective personalities. I also collect silver coins. I use the proper solution for cleaning my coins (sorry, but I like to see them nice and shiny instead of black). I understand that cleaning them may decrease the intrinsic value, but don't care. I would also like to clean the strikes I buy and would like your advice on what to use: the preferable way to do it. The silver solution I use does not work on the outside ring. Most of my strikes are $10 and have a brassy ring outside the silver. Please advise me on the best way to clean these strikes. Thank You Very Much, Gerard
