Ken, you might be correct with saying it is "nothing" more that a slot token. Back then maybe you are right. But, today it is a nice collectable and I am quite sure Peggy can sell it for more than just face value. There are collectors who do collect the $100 silver/gold tokens. And this piece looks to be in very nice condition.
