Archie, I'm not sure of the cost to do them too many Senior moments I guess but I think about thirty-five bucks including shipping. There's a plating company out in NY that does it and I was put in contact with them. Very interesting process, they first hand coat all the areas with a sealer that prevents the gold hue from attaching to those areas, yes, each coin is hand coated just like the gold on all the other coins (strikes) that ever have been gold plated. The sealer is like a fine rubber type product and after the gold coating they then remove the product by hand also.
