My advice is to know what you want before you buy. It is unlikely that you will get the best price or value from pawn shops unless you know values. I did find a couple of good value strikes(Silver City Hearts & Stars) at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop(PawnStars) on Las Vegas Blvd. for $25 apiece several years ago. Most of their strikes were commons which you can find on eBay for less. Your best bet would be to go through the Silver Strikers On-Line Catalog to view and list the strikes you are interested in. Check out the Guide Price from William Cohenour's Nevada Silver Strike Catalog($35) and buy from reputable sellers on eBay auctions. Of course you can buy from SS Members off of this message board and the SS Classifieds. With Silver prices so low, now is the best time to stock up on .999 Silver Strikes.
