grin Hi Jon, Don't quit. This is an amazing hobby. I started with the strikes we won on my honeymoon. I sold them on eBay and found the Silver Striker's Club website. What a wealth of knowledge. There are all aspects of this hobby. You can participate on multiple levels. The older members have memories of the old days that are priceless.

Talk to the people hording the machines. Instead of getting mad, engage them in conversation. Where are you from? How long have you been collecting? Would you be interested in selling any of your accumulation to another collector who prizes these as much as you do?

Most people just want to be happy. They aren't intentionally trying to hurt anyone else, they are just thinking of themselves and their own success.

I joined the club to learn about the strikes to sell them. I specialize in .999 fine silver $10 strikes and have many of the older blue and red caps that have the silver center . If you need them for your collection, Let me know and I can send you a list of what I have. It isn't the thrill of winning them yourself, but you can accumulate a collection from a different direction.

Happy Strikin' grin
