You are 100% right, there are some very rude collectors, however there are many very nice collectors. I don't mind when someone is playing a machine for a long time, as long as they are playing and not just tying up the machine, as some do. Playing is important to this hobby. Some also save a machine for a friend even though you are waiting - that also is not right.
I have found 2:30 am to be a good time to play. I just let the "old" boys have the machines during prime time and I go to bed.
The swap meet is another event that is hard to crack. If it wouldn't be for a few nice people, I wouldn't waste my time. One day the "old" boy will wake up and realize the hobby needs the new collector. Mike Hennessey SS493
