Ok, now this is interesting. My son was at his local coin club meeting. Up for auction was this paper weight made of lucite and having a silver strike inside. This one from the Hilton Spacequest set. My son got to talking with the seller. Back in the day he worked for Centennial Coin. Which is a large coin shop in the valley (LA area). When you see a CC on misc strikes or casino silver rounds they are the company that the casinos had a contract with to have strikes or rounds made. He is going to check to see if he has any more of these paper weights in his stash from when he worked there. He does not remember for who or the reason why these weights were made up. He also had a extra Bally's Champagne Slots 3 ounce silver token. I did end up as the new owner of both goodies.
Does any of you out there in strike land have any info on the paper weights ?
