Rod, I don't think anyone would think that someone receiving SS retirement benefits would be receiving free goodies. SS retirement benefits are supposedly paid based on acuarial tables for the required monies that you paid in during your many years of labor, including payroll deductions and employer (self employed) matching deposits.
