Try a smaller place instead of the places that advertise with full page ads every day in the RJ. Unless you don't mind paying for their ads or TV spots. The jewelry stores typically pay only about 50-65% of value. So they may not be the best either but their checks are good. I went to this shop across from the Palms Casino with my gold jewelry and some coins. They paid me more than the jewelry stores did and they paid in cash. A bit hard to find though and they don't advertise much if at all (I don't recall ever seeing an ad from them) but I heard about them from a neighbor. They deal with client referrals primarily so no big shop if thats what you want. Small operation working directly with a smelter I hear. Inside the Caesars Employee Health and Wellness Center Building across from the Palms Hotel on Flamingo. I forget the suite # but its on the directory. Nice guys too. Just my 2cents worth.
