Yes, the edge is reeded until it is smooth where the .999 is printed.

I was hoping to hear from some of the collectors who are familiar with these.
The price guide did list one with fireworks as .999 and Bill emailed that he has one too.

I agree, I think the card may be from something else. It was not sealed with the coin, so I am not going to use it for validation in the future.
