I hear ya. I purchased this because it was advertised as .999 when all the others state they are clad.
The clad also say they are 1 ounce, mine is 20 grams.

The edge has .999 Fine Silver etched into it like the trademarks for the Marilyn Monroe and Babe Ruth strikes.

I don't know what else to say. It is marked .999 Fine Silver
