I think that the mintage on the blue 454SS in blue cap is 500, I can check that in a couple weeks if no one else knows for sure. I think the $80 was because that was the first blue one listed and it was within a week or two of when it came out. The orange/red one has been out a couple months and prices seem to have come down on it a bit since the early release. I'm hoping to see some of the early releases in this series colorized too. If you take a dozen cars in two or three colors each, that could keep this series alive a little longer. The strikes in this series do well for clads, I think that's because they have appeal beyond strike collectors. So eBay is a good place to find all the old motorheads that owned these cars back in 60's and 70's.
