Re: Coins from slot machines from Vegas

Hi Sandy,

Without a list, all we can do is direct you to eBay or to Bill Cohenour's guide to strike prices (wcohenour@earthlink.net). You mention they are silver, if they have the .999 on them, and they have brass ring around them ($10 strikes) then they have somewhere around .5 to .6 ounces of fine silver so melt value will be from $16-19 roughly. Some of them could be rare or errors, so they could be worth more. If they are solid silver and about the size of a half dollar they could be $7 strikes. Those vary in weight a little more, some as much as .85 oz so some of them have as much as $25 melt silver. Again, there could be rare or errors there that make them more valuable.

Feel free to list strikes here on the Strikepoint, reasonably priced strikes sell well here. Otherwise eBay is your best retail outlet. Coinshops are probably the easiest way to liquidate, but you usually do not get even melt value, there. Good Luck
